Love that Shot Link Up

I'm linking up to a weekly photo meme called Love That Shot where you post your favorite photo from the previous week.

Below is one of my favorite photos from the previous week. My BFF and her family came all the way to me (3 hours) so I could do their family photos for their Christmas card and just some family photos in general. This is at a clock tower in my town and thought it would be neat to change the photo to sepia and add a vignette. I think that really makes the photo.

I Heart Faces: Celebrating Teens

It's Teen Week over at I Heart Faces this week. I shot these teens on a cold day in January before they were off to the Military Ball. They were great sports about being out in the cold!

Hiatus

As some of my clients may know, my son, Noah, is having major surgery on May 28th to repair the curvature of his spine which was caused  by Scoliosis. NLS Photography will be on hiatus through out the entire summer so that I can devote my time and energy to helping my son recover.

I know you all understand. Have a great summer and I can't wait to do your fall portraits!

Baby S - Spartanburg Area Baby Photographer

You may remember my first maternity photo shoot back in January with Ashley and David. I recently had the pleasure of photographing their daughter. This was my first time going into someone's home and shooting their. It does present a few challenges (like lighting and set up) but we got some great shots. Below are a few of my faves.

C and N Spring Shoot Preview

On Thursday, I met C and N (my close friends and family will recognize these two adorable kiddos) and their Mom in downtown Greer at a new(er) park near the City Hall their. I did a photo shoot there in October and love the location so when they were going to be near that location anyways I suggested the park. It was a beautiful, warm spring day and we got some awesome photos. I took a TON of photos and I still haven't finished editing them but here's a sampling of some of the images that are my faves thus far.

(I didn't do anything to the ground, it was just multi colored like that.)

Sisters Shoot

I totally forgot to put up these pictures from a shoot I did right before Christmas. These three girls are sisters and the one in the middle is my assistant! They wanted a group shot to frame and give some relatives as Christmas gifts and then we also did some individual and smaller group shots. Since it was so cold out, we did these indoors.
